Baked Chocolate Oats

About the recipe

Oats are  among the healthiest grains on earth. They’re a gluten-free whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber.
Consuming oats regularly will help  weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and a reduced risk of heart disease.

Generally we make oats porridge made with milk and then add fruits and nuts to have as breakfast. Sometimes we make masala oats also using some crunchy vegetables.

But today I am sharing a baked recipe of oats which looks like cake but actually is a breakfast dish. This dish is gaining popularity now a days. It is so versatile dish where you can add so many different ingredients according to your likings. A beautiful, healthy, delicious and quick breakfast dish that you must try.

I baked those oats with mashed banana, milk and cocoa powder to give them taste like chocolate cake. I didn’t use any flour, oil, butter or egg! So it is not only pure veg dish but also can make them vegan. You can flavour this dish with other fresh  fruits also. And if you don’t like chocolate flavour in the morning, just avoid using cocoa powder.

Also add in 2 tablepoon of brown sugar and 1/4th teaspoon of vanilla essence. You can also use honey or maple syrup in place of brown sugar according to your taste.

Super easy and delicious baked oats are ready now. I baked for about 20 minutes.

Serve with a piece of dark chocolate on top (which will melt due to the heat of the oats).
