Choco-Orange Brownies
Brownies are very favourite dessert of my kids. I love to make them in my kitchen as they are very easy and quick to make. I am sharing here a brownie recipe that is made without chocolate. They are very simple to make with some very economical and easily available ingredients. For extra taste, I added orange zest and orange juice to my brownies. I am sure you will love to have them.

- 1/3rd cup unsweetened Cocoa powder
- 1/4th teaspoon Baking powder

Frosting ingredients
- 3 tablespoon soft unsalted Butter
- 3 tablespoon unsweetened Cocoa powder
- 1 cup Icing Sugar
- 1/2 of a fresh Orange juice
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 2 tablespoon hot Milk
Steps
Heat 1/2 cup of unsalted butter to melt.

Transfer melted butter to a mixing bowl and add in 2 eggs and 1 cup of regular sugar.

Blend well with a fork and add in orange zest from 1 orange. Also add 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.

Add in fresh juice of 1/2 of an orange and stir in.

Next add in all dry ingredients like 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/3rd cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/4th teaspoon baking powder and a pinch of salt. Stir in to incorporate everything to make a thick batter.

Preheat oven at 180 degrees C for 10 minutes.
Take a square 7-inch size baking dish and line it with permanent/baking paper. Also, grease sides with little oil.

Transfer the batter to the dish, tap 2-3 times to remove any bubbles.

Bake it in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

For the frosting, take 3 tablespoons of soft butter. Add-in 1 cup icing sugar and 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder.

Also, add-in juice of half of an orange, 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.

Mix well and add in 1 or 2 tablespoons of hot milk to adjust the consistency of frosting.

De mould the brownie and cover with the frosting when the brownie is still warm.

Sprinkle some icing sugar on the top.

Cut in equal share pieces.

Garnish with orange jest and enjoy with your family and friends.

They are so soft, little chewy and flavourful.
